ChiroTape®
Chiro (Greek for hand) + tape

ChiroTape® is a cotton-based tape with elasticity similar to human skin (can stretch up to 180% of its original size). The ChiroTape® is applied to a skin-friendly self-adhesive acrylic coating by medical personnel. The adhesive properties of the coating are activated by body heat.

The breathing, vapor-permeable fabric structure of the ChiroTape® is water-repellent and can therefore be worn several days without loss of effect. The tape supports muscle and joint function without restricting mobility and reduces pain while offering superior wearing comfort. ChiroTape® does not contain any medications (drugs). Its success is based on a special application technique (ChiroTapingTherapy™). Allergic reactions have been very rare. Any allergies must be determined by the therapist before starting treatment with ChiroTape®. Improper application can also cause undesirable skin reactions.
