Patient information

ChiroTape® and ChiroTaping®Therapy have a much wider range of application than sports therapy.

ChiroTapingTherapy™ has been successfully used for a wide variety of conventional symptoms and as prohylaxis.

The adhesive tape technique decisively influences the speed and success of ChiroTaping®Therapy.

Experience shows that an incorrect adhesive technique can produce a contrary effect.

We would therefore like to stress that although there are a number of similar methods that seek to reduce pain using elastic tape, and the tape on skin looks similar to ChiroTaping®Therapy, the results are sometimes not as successful since a different adhesive technique is used.

ChiroTaping must only be used by medical personnel with corresponing training.

ChiroTaping®Therapy is generally used as a concomitant therapy with the goal of reducing pain. If you want to learn more about this method and its uses, you can obtain contact information of our experts under "Medical practices"; they will be happy to advise and instruct you individually.

To learn this method, individuals with nationally-recognized medical training can find the corresponding instruction dates under “Training". Please feel free to contact us to find out additional dates.

Prophylaxis

To prevent general injury or existing or regularly occurring symptoms, ChiroTaping®Therapy is also regularly used by CTT therapists as prophylaxis. Professional athletes exploit this advantage for their specific sport.

Our masters of ChiroTaping®Therapy also recommend using ChiroTaping for preventing the typical symptoms of conventional complaints. ChiroTaping®Therapy can be successfully used to reduce daily stresses such as standing or sitting activities, unusual and usual stresses, long bike rides, hikes and especially sports activities.
